Hedley's journey from Brunei to Sarawak

Thirty years ago, when Hedley was a young man, with his wife and daughter Kate, they visited the Niah Caves in Sarawak by three different kinds of transport such as driving a car, small boat, and a large ferry.
The journey started in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei and they drove a car to the border of Sarawak. There were two large rivers, so they went across the rivers by a ferry to Niah. After that, they hired a boat to reach the government rest house, where they wanted to stay and have a rest.
The next morning, they started to walk along a jungle trail for approximately 30 minutes, till they reached the Niah caves. The caves were very high and they had the opportunity to see men who scraped off birds’ nests and put them into sacks.
That afternoon they said goodbye to their new friends and went back home.
